2024 Ducati Panigale V4 R Review: Track-Ready Performance

The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 R represents the pinnacle of Italian motorcycle engineering. With its 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine producing a staggering 240 horsepower with the racing exhaust, it's one of the most powerful production motorcycles ever created.

During our test at Mugello Circuit, the bike's advanced aerodynamics package—including the prominent winglets—provided noticeable downforce at high speeds, keeping the front wheel planted during hard acceleration out of corners.

The electronic package is equally impressive, featuring the latest generation of Ducati's cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, and engine brake control. All these systems can be fine-tuned via the crisp TFT display.

Braking performance from the Brembo Stylema calipers is nothing short of exceptional, offering tremendous stopping power with excellent feel through the lever.

While the Panigale V4 R is technically street-legal, make no mistake—this is a racing motorcycle with headlights. It's uncomfortable, hot, and demanding at street speeds. But for those seeking the ultimate track weapon that can be ridden to and from the circuit, nothing else comes close.
